Background and bio
==================

I have been working as software project manager for several years. In capacity of RBC employee (RosBusinessConsulting) I realized software projects both for small and large companies in different fields of industry and commerce. Most of them are famous enough and are in TOP100 largest companies in Russia.

My activity included all stages of the software production cycle, i.e. requirements analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, project management, etc.

I began my career building in 1991, when I was hired by local software company (“Bazis”) for the post of the programmer to develop an installer for the company’s key product CAD/CAM. As “Bazis” employee I had realized several software projects under MSDOS using Borland development tools.

Later on I moved to Ryazan and graduated from the University there. Within five years of my studies I worked in position of designer of printed media. I have gained excellent knowledge in design, printing science and polygraphic industry.

Beside that within this period I have developed a few small programs, i.e. tools for my private usage and programs just to have fun (some of them could be found on my webpage, iway.ru).

Meanwhile I have been working as project manager in software industry since 2001. I pay considerable attention to Unix technologies—these are my passion. Nevertheless, I also know Windows operating system very well as I have completed dozens of software tools under Windows. I have enough knowledge and experience in Windows and Unix required for accepting right solutions of feasibility study of start-up projects and customers’ requests.

80 % of my projects are web-solutions: websites, portals, services.
15 % of my projects are standalone projects under Windows: CD software, win32 clients.
5 % of my projects are uncategorized.

I have finished several software projects with original conception, key ideas and architecture. Judging from the information I have, all these products have not got analogues anywhere in internet.

There are some examples of that projects: programming language for unix/web (artpublishing), internet conferencing with VIP persons (starchat.ru), mail2web service (executing get/post requests with file attached to web sites on incoming mail event using information from mail headers and mail body), “live” (chat-like) forum engine etc.
